Resident card

Juvenile Card

Available free of charge to those meeting one the following criteria:
  • Brook resident or property owner
  • Washington Township resident or property owner
  • Iroquois Township resident or property owner
  • Teacher in the South Newton School District
  • Student enrolled in the South Newton School District
  • Business owner within Brook, Iroquois or Washington Townships

To Apply: Bring a form of photo ID with proof of address and complete an application to receive your card on-site.

Resident Cards must be renewed every two years.

Card applications are available at the circulation desk, or they can be printed and completed before your visit.
PRINT AN APPLICATION
If you or your child meet the resident card criteria but are under the age of 18, legal guardians can submit an application for the juvenile.

Juvenile Cards must be renewed every two years.

E-Access cards

Available free of charge to those meeting Resident Card criteria, the E-Access card can be applied for online and only grants access to electronic content such as e-books.

Complete a brief registration online registration, and staff will review your application within 48 business hours.

NON-RESIDENT OPTIONS

Reciprocal Borrower Card
​
Available to cardholders of other libraries that are members of the Indiana Reciprocal Borrowing agreement. Once home library information is verified, applicants can use the same process as listed above for resident cards.

Public Library Access Card (PLAC)
​
Available to cardholders of other Indiana libraries that are not members of the Indiana Reciprocal Borrowing agreement. The Public Library Access Card (PLAC) is sponsored by the Indiana State Library and is valid for 1 year. The fee is set by the Indiana State Library each year.
Renew Annually

Non-Resident Card
​
Available to residents of unserved library districts and out-of-state residents, this card may be purchased annually.  The fee is set by the Board of Trustees of the Brook Iroquois Washington Public Library in accordance with state standards to meet the library’s operating fund expenditure per capita​.
