Board  of Trustees

The Brook Iroquois Washington Public Library is governed by the Board of Trustees - a group comprised of seven appointed officials who make decisions relating to library funding, long range planning, and policy. Members are volunteers that are appointed by the Newton County Council, the Newton County Commissioners, and the South Newton School Board.

BIWPL board meetings begin at 5:00 PM CST and are open to the public. To have an item added to the agenda or to speak at the meeting, please contact the Director at least 3 business days prior to the meeting.
