FLY AWAY BUTTON ART

Let your creativity take flight at our Fly Away Button Art program for adults ages 18 and up! Using paint and colorful buttons, you’ll create a whimsical hot air balloon scene on canvas—perfect for spring décor or a handmade gift. All supplies are provided, and the program is completely free. Come enjoy a relaxing, artistic evening with us!​

Family Flick Friday

Join Us for Family Flick Friday! 

Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun movie night at the library! On Friday, March 28 at 5:00 PM, we’ll be showing Dog Man on our big screen. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the film with free popcorn provided!

​Don’t miss our Annual Book Sale, running from May 3 to May 17! Browse a wide selection of books for all ages and take home some great reads for a free will donation. All proceeds go directly to support our Summer Reading Program, helping us provide exciting events, prizes, and activities for our community. Stock up on stories while supporting a great cause!

Join us for an important Community Conversation focused on making the library more accessible and welcoming for all. We invite individuals with disabilities, caregivers, advocates, and community members to share their experiences, ideas, and feedback. Your voice will help shape our new accessible website and guide future library improvements.

100 book challenge

It's time to register for the 100 Book Challenge of 2025! This is a fun, year-long reading challenge that encourages you to set a goal and read, read, read! 

Participants can now track their activity virtually via Beanstack! Click HERE to register.

Prefer good old pen and paper? We have paper logs available at the library. 

english language learning classes

The Brook Public Library offers English Language Learning classes for Spanish speakers. Two separate classes (divided by ability) are offered twice a week for 10 months. The curriculum focuses on the English Language, citizenship requirements, and job skills.
