how can i get a library card?

IN PERSON:
Complete a brief registration card if you are over 18 years of age and provide a picture ID or Driver's License.

Verification of your mailing address is required. If your address is not Brook, Iroquois or Washington Township, we will need to check with your home library to verify that your card is in good standing with them.

A parent of legal guardian must sign registration cards for children under 18 years of age.

​Staff will review your application within 7 days. If your address is not Brook, Iroquois or Washington Township, we will need to check with your home library to verify that your card is in good standing with them.

Wireless Printing Available Now!

We are introducing Princh, our new cloud-based printing solution. Princh allows our patrons to print using their own mobile devices or laptops, as well as the library’s PCs.
  • To print from your Android or IOS device just download the free Princh app from your digital store.
  • To print from your laptop visit print.princh.com.
The printing prices remain the same, but the payment methods have been diversified. You can now pay using your credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or MobilePay, so you no longer have to search for coins in your pockets!
